Here are Amy, Paul, Sarah and Don on the deck of the house in Takapuna where we are staying.
Charyl, don't worry...even though they don't have hospitals here, they do have charging stations! (Sure hope you're laughing?) Actually this was at LAX and they had a whole line of these charging stations and Dave being Dave and Paul being Paul, this was the result.
And for all of you who know us, here are Amy and I in the kitchen, so you know all is well with the world!
Driving on the other side of the road is going to take some getting used to...the cars just seem to be coming at you from the wrong side and being a pedestrian is really risky. And they have LOTS of traffic circles. We pick up our rental car tomorrow, so Aucklanders, watch out!
Tomorrow should be a good day for scenery pictures, but right now after 31 hours of travelling, we are just happy to have a bed to sleep in.
ooOOOooo that place looks pretty fancy right der!! i see palm trees, and am therefore super jealous right now, post more pictures of awesome weather so its easier for me to pretend im there too! And be careful!! i cant imagine trying to drive on the other side of the road, although i can imagine turning left onto a 2 way street being quite hazardous! Cant wait to see more photos maam
